Outside our door is regarded 'the best tow path stretch of the Royal canal'. This unique waterway was first built back in 1790 and is being restored today.

Nearby to Muckross House are the National Botanic Gardens. This is a beautiful National asset, founded by the Royal Dublin Society in 1795 and an ideal way to spend a relaxing morning after a night in the city.

A 5 min walk will have you at Croke park, the home of Irish Gaelic Games (GAA). The museum tour is a must for sports fans. Croke park now hosts International Soccer and Rugby.

The accommodation is ideal for visiting patients in the main city hospitals of Temple Street and the Mater.
